Once downloaded extract and install the Management Server update first, followed by the Web Console and then the Operations Manager Console update.

You will not get a complete or finished message, the installer will just close!

Now copy the files to any additional Management Servers and install in the same order.

Check that the installer was successful by opening the Operations Manager Console and Clicking Help > About

Note the version is 7.2.11719.0 which is UR1

Now log onto to your Management Server and open SQL Management Studio > Databases > Right Click OperationsManager > New Query

CLick File > Open > File

Navigate to “\\SCOMSERVERNAME\c$\Program Files\Microsoft System Center 2016\Operations Manager\Server\SQL Script for Update Rollups”

Open the update_rollup_mom_db file

Ensure the OperationsManager DB is selected and click Execute.  The command should execute successfully.  In some instances this can take some time especially in larger production environments.

Navigate back to your Operations Manager Management Server and open the Operations Manager Console > Administration > Right Click Management Packs > Import management Packs > Add From Disk > Yes

Locate the new MP’s from C:\Program Files\Microsoft System Center 2016\Operations Manager\Server\Management Packs for Update Rollups

Highlight them all and click Open

Resolve any issues and click Install and click Yes if prompted

Next you should update any Agents that have been put into a pending state.

Navigate to Administration > Device Management > Pending Management and Approve any pending agents.

Finally wherever you have installed the Operations Manager Console, you will need to update it with the UR1 Console update.

Hope this helps as the UR is not just a simple next… next… next… install Smile
